Site Rental & UseThe historic 1770 Mennonite Meetinghouse makes an excellent venue for a variety of events, including small group meetings, classes, parties and even weddings.
The “Sanctuary” (the original 1770 portion of the building) has double rows of wooden pews facing a raised pulpit at the front. It seats about 65 comfortably. The acoustics are excellent, and little or no amplification is needed. The “Sunday School Room” (built in 1908) is located behind the sanctuary through a doorway at the rear of the building. The space can be arranged in a variety of ways: we have six conference tables and about 35 wooden & folding chairs. There is no kitchen, but you are welcome to bring prepared food to the site. Bathrooms are located at the rear of the Sunday School Room.
Please note that the Meetinghouse is not wheelchair accessible. To access the building, visitors must navigate two small sets of stairs with railings (6 total steps) and a short brick walkway.
Special rates are available for Mennonite and Anabaptist groups. Contact us at (215) 843-0943 or gmht@meetinghouse.info for more information. Download a floor plan here. |
